I rewatched this anime like 10 times and Elda every time warms my heart.
Definitely an anime1 tier.
With a score as high as 9,4/10.

Other than the flop that is the idol hockey anime PuraOre, C2C's been on a roll lately with last fall's Reincarnated as a Sword and last season's Handyman Saitou, so how does this fare?

For starters, this is a show that any and all otakus are gonna love and especially relate to. Though between this and Magical Destroyers, I'm more likely to recommend this to people.

The music is nice, the art and animation while alright, makes up for it with the characters. Speaking of which, I love the relationship with Elda and Koito. Overall, like with Handyman Saitou, this show turned out to be a surprise, a hidden gem for that matter. Might not be Oshi no Ko or Heavenly Delusion levels of popular, but this is a good time nonetheless. I recommend any and all otakus to look into this.
Final Verdict: 8/10

C2C has been too busy with 'Pride of Orange', 'Reincarnated as a Sword', 'Handyman Saitou', and 'Edomae Elf' to do any work on 'MF'. :(

It'll be 2 years in a few weeks time since S1 first aired.

I forgot the attempt to blend both ice hockey and idols was a thing.

I hate a nag but Koito seemed to be increasingly enabling Elda since the start, would've been nice to try & strike a balance.

Last Episode, It's a Good Comedy Anime and also sad considering Elda is an immortal and seeing her Mikos grow up and die is really heartbreaking for her.

I still can't forget Elda said "Don't rush into becoming an Adult" [Episode-5 - 21:18]

Elda's reaction is also hinting that she's still sad of Koito's mom's death. She's good at hiding her feelings but sometimes Koito notice that.
